Charity Program

This is the program we are most proud of!  At CrossFit Primal we are so thankful for our members and without them we would not have the awesome gym we do!  To show our appreciation each month we select a charity and put together a workout to raise money for that charity.  Giving back to our community is very important to us!  After all, our community is what drives our success!  If you have a charity you would like us to contribute to, please let us know and we will do our best to get it on the schedule.

CrossFit Kids

Our CrossFit kids program is based on a program with 10 years of proven results and is THE elite kids training program in the Des Moines area.  Kids who participate in our year round program develope an edge in both sports and academics!  Our program is based on the 10 general physical skills needed in both sports and life.  Classes are 45 minutes long and broken into both working out and learning sessions.  Each child will learn the foundations of every movement required!  Form, technique, and safety are core principles in both our kids and adult programs!  Your child will love the fun educational culture in our kids classes that will not only keep them interested and excited about working out but will teach them the tools they need to succeed in both sports and life.  

Ages: 8-12
Schedule: Mon/Wed 4:45-5:30


Yoga

At CrossFit Primal we understand the total picture of fitness! To help our members with their flexibility we offer free yoga classes!  Full range of motion is critical to achieving any goal that you have with CrossFit and a yoga class is just the answer for that!  99% of all people that start with us are simply not used to the types of movements needed in CrossFit. Squating below parallel and pushing weights over your head are very common in CrossFit and can be challenging if flexibility is an issue. Yoga will help you get past any flexibility issues and will help you acheive the results you are looking for!  Whether your an experienced crossfitter or are new to the program, yoga is the key to your success and offerred at no charge to our members!
